Geyser repair, replacement & solar
Elements, thermostats, valves, full replacements, solar geysers and heat pumps — installed by a team that does this every week.
A geyser is the hardest-working thing in your roof. When it fails you usually get one of three signs: cold water, water where it shouldn't be, or a breaker that trips as soon as you reset it.
Not every geyser problem needs a new geyser. An element, thermostat or pressure control valve is a fraction of the cost of a replacement — so the first thing we do is work out which of those it is.
When a unit is genuinely finished, we replace it and can talk you through solar geysers and heat pumps if a lower electricity bill is what you're after.

If you're seeing any of this, get it looked at
Most expensive plumbing problems started as a small one somebody hoped would go away.
- Hot water runs out far faster than it used to
- Water dripping from the overflow pipe or the roof edge
- The geyser's power trips the earth leakage when you reset it
- A hissing or rumbling sound from the geyser
- Rust-coloured or smelly hot water
- The geyser's drip tray overflowing
How a geysers, solar & heat pumps job runs
Same four steps every time, whether it's a stubborn fitting or a full installation.
- 01
Test it
We check the element, thermostat, valves and pressure before recommending anything.
- 02
Give you the options
Repair, replace, or move to solar or a heat pump — with the price of each.
- 03
Install it properly
Correct valves, correct wiring, correct drip tray and overflow. This is what stops the next failure.
- 04
Test and clean up
We run it, check for leaks and take the old unit and packaging away.
Geysers, solar & heat pumps — what people ask
Honest answers, no sales pitch.
How long does a geyser last?
Most geysers give 8 to 15 years. A geyser on its third repair in two years, or one that's leaking from the cylinder itself, is usually cheaper to replace than keep repairing.
Do I need to replace the whole geyser if it's just leaking?
Not always. Leaks at the valves and connections are common and fixable. Only a cylinder that has rusted through needs replacing.
Is a solar geyser or heat pump worth it in Gqeberha?
Gqeberha gets plenty of sun, so solar water heating performs well here. A heat pump costs more upfront but runs in any weather. Ask us to compare both against what you currently spend on electricity.
